Every Friday an International Campfire is organised by KISC staff. Troops are invited to volunteer songs, sketches and other things to perform during the campfire. This year 3GP didn't get a chance to perform at the campfire, and a good job too judging by the effort made by other troops.

ABOVE: Errm.. I'm not sure that we like that sort of thing. (And they went on singing in some scandanavian language for ages...)

RIGHT: Busy campfire.

The acts that we had the opportunity to see would give many a talking point. The group dressed entirely in white robes with white pointy hats for instance. The real star of the show was the German girl's display, not when she was fire breathing or juggling, although this was impressive enough, but Mark assures me it was when she was seen dancing about with the Portuguese.

Other memorable acts include the traditional Austrian folk dancing which was memorable for all the wrong reasons. It went on for far too long, and in a fading light no one was sure exactly when they finished although the staff were given instructions to wake up the crowd once they had disappear.
