The
climbing continued into the heat of the
afternoon. The Scouts and younger
Explorers traveled to Oey by train. The
rest of the leaders and Networkers and older Explorers
drove down with the kit, the lunch and a lot
of water. All the kit had to be carried
up a very steep track to the quarry.
The Scouts were working
towards their climbers badge and the Explorers were
working through part of the syllabus of their mountain
sports badge.
