AFTER THE SPEACHES A FLAG COVERING THE NAME OF THE HALL WAS UNFURLED
Inside the main hall after the opening in 1973.

Note that the loft store above den six still hasn't been built. The blackboard and notice boards havn't been fitted yet and suspended lights seem to have been fitted.

The kitchen hatch doors are still the same forty years later!

Once inside the new hall, more speaches were given by both the Scout DC Bill Adams seen here flanked by Allan Mathews and Mr Sixsmith and by the Guide DC Mrs A.I. Wingham.
